New installation
Installation of ventilation systems
Our core business and our area of expertise for over a decade
To maintain healthy, pleasant air in your living or working spaces and prevent condensation issues, Air Clean Ventilation installs ventilation systems for both businesses and homes. Our team carries out the work with great care, handling the necessary drilling through walls, partitions, ceilings, and floors to route the ventilation ducts to the central unit.
Types of Controlled Mechanical Ventilation
Controlled mechanical ventilation (CMV) is a system designed to ensure the continuous renewal of air within your business premises or home. There are two types of controlled mechanical ventilation.
-
Single-flow controlled mechanical ventilation
Extraction of indoor air to the outside.
-
Dual-flow controlled mechanical ventilation
Extraction of indoor air to the outside, combined with the intake of fresh outdoor air. Heat within your business premises or home is retained through the use of a heat exchanger.
Compliance with standards
Installation of a mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery (dual-flow mechanical ventilation)
The first step in installing your mechanical ventilation system (VMC) is to create a layout plan for the ventilation ducts. The team calculates the required duct diameter based on the volume of air to be supplied to or extracted from each room. This work is carried out in full compliance with current standards.
The team installs the ventilation ducts by creating openings through the walls, partitions, ceilings, and floors of your business premises or home. The central unit is placed in a dedicated area, such as an attic or loft space. Once the ducts are connected to the central unit, the system is powered on so that the airflow in each room can be precisely adjusted. Upon commissioning, measurements are taken to provide the data necessary for your Energy Performance of Buildings (EPB) certificate.
Ventilation System Central Unit
Ventilation ducts channel filtered air into your business premises or home. Other ducts extract stale, humid ambient air and vent it outside. This process is powered by a central unit, installed in a dedicated space protected from freezing temperatures. The central unit consists of four main components:
- Fans that regulate air circulation
- Temperature and humidity sensors
-
Filters
One filter for air extracted from your rooms—protecting the ventilation system from dust—and another for incoming air, which protects your indoor environment from dust and pollen.
-
A control unit with an interface module for internet connectivity (via Wi-Fi or cable)
A manufacturer-provided app allows you to adjust your ventilation settings and program various operating modes (normal, night, away, or boost).
Ventilation and Air Conditioning Ducts
Air Clean Ventilation installs galvanized metal ducts that are treated to prevent rust. Their smooth surface facilitates quiet airflow. This material is ideally designed to make the maintenance of your ventilation and air conditioning system easier.
